The defaultContentLocale parameter is used to set the language of your content when accessing your Fluid Topics portal for the first time.

Note: The defaultContentLocale parameter use in the conf.json file tends to be deprecated from Fluid Topics v3.4.
Attention: Setting this parameter is strongly recommended prior to accessing your portal for the first time.

The defaultContentLocale parameter is located in the ui object of the conf.json configuration file, as in the following example:

Note: A region-extended locale is the combination of an ISO 639-1 language code in lowercase and an ISO 3166-1 country code in uppercase, separated by a hyphen.

If defaultContentLocale is absent, not defined, or defined with the en value, Fluid Topics falls back to the default region-extended language, which is en-US.
