The ft:meta element is used within the ft:metas element to define the metadata to apply to a map or a topic.



- This element is mandatory within the ft:metas element.

- If a metadata is multi-valued, one ft:meta element should be listed for each value.

The ft:meta element is composed of the following attributes:

  • @key: name of the variant used in the content
  • @type: type of the metadata
  • @separator: character used as a separator for hierarchical facets
