The @ft:originId attribute is used within the following elements:

  • ft:map, to provide an original identifier for the FTML map.
  • ft:node, to provide an original identifier for the topic.

The @ft:originId element is optional. If not provided, Fluid Topics uses:

  • For FTML maps, the filename of the map and its path within the archive as a unique identifier.
  • For topics, the @href attribute as a unique identifier.

The following lines show an example of the @ft:originId element:
