Some web services do not require authentication. When this is the case, Fluid Topics returns content without any filters applied.

When a web service does require authentication, Fluid Topics retrieves the following user information:

  • User roles - to determine if the user has the right to call the web service.
  • User groups - to determine how the filter the content returned by Search web services.



- If Fluid Topics has been configured with authentication set to required, all Fluid Topics web services require authentication.

- It is mandatory to only public web services for the portal. Public web services are the ones listed in this document. Antidot cannot be held responsible for any damage resulting from the use of private web services.
