The AND operator is used to find results that return all entered keywords connected by the operator. It is activated by default on the portal.
If the "A term" and "B term" can be found as a single thesaurus entry, the returned results for the query using AND do not show the results of the thesaurus.
The AND operator is used as follows: "A term" AND "B term"
- Searching for Query AND Engine returns 130 results.
- Searching for Query Engine returns 146 results. The Query Engine entry has been added in the thesaurus to return the following results: QEng and QE. This result shows that there are 16 results where Query Engine cannot be found but QEng and QE are present.
