To configure DITA content as an article in Fluid Topics, it is necessary to tag the content as an article with the ft:editorialType metadata element.

In a DITA map file, define the editorial type in the <bookmeta> tag as follows:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE bookmap
PUBLIC "-//OASIS//DTD DITA BookMap//EN"
"http://docs.oasis-open.org/dita/v1.1/OS/dtd/bookmap.dtd">
<bookmap id="..." xml:lang="...">
<booktitle>
<mainbooktitle>...</mainbooktitle>
</booktitle>
<bookmeta>
<othermeta name="fr:editorialType" content="article"/>
</bookmeta>
<chapter>...</chapter>
</bookmap>

In a standard DITA map, add the editorial type information in the <topicmeta> tag as follows:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE map PUBLIC "-//OASIS//DTD DITA Map//EN"
"http://docs.oasis-open.org/dita/v1.1/OS/dtd/map.dtd">
<map title="...">
<title>...</title>
<topicmeta>
<othermeta name="ft:editorialType" content="article"/>
</topicmeta>
<topicref...></topicref>...
</map>

- The ft:editorialType tag can only be applied at a map level. In the case of a top map gathering several maps, tag the top map only.

- Fluid Topics only takes into account the metadata defined at the top map level. The lower-map and topic level metadata are ignored.
