Description

Remote knowledge

Remote knowledge takes the form of bookmarks.

A bookmark helps find a knowledge item easily: it points to a resource available on the Internet or on the intranet. Web information can be consolidated.

Local knowledge

Local knowledge is stored in CKS and it takes the form of multifacet files.

A multifacet file stores knowledge items directly into CKS. It can store files and views of single items, like an edit document, a PDF file, or a summary.

Search query

A search query returns relevant knowledge items on a given subject.

Queries can be recorded and regularly performed, manually or automatically. New matching results create an event.

Document watch

Results of an AFS search can be recorded in order to watch them and get events on them.

Modifications on a document trigger an event.

All the knowledge items must be stored in a container.
