When a member or the knowledge base is modified, an event is generated. For example, a modification can be:

  • a new name of a folder,
  • a new subscribing user, and
  • the deletion of a group.

Events are submitted to the same security restrictions as the objects which generate it. For example, the event associated to changing the name of a folder is visible only to users with the right (direct or indirect) to read the book including the folder.

What is more, every event carries a type which helps identify it easily (for example, modifying a user and adding a bookmark)

The server includes a web service to get the events list on an object and on all the events which a user can read. The lists are also available in the form of an RSS flow.
