To configure the second CKS server

  1. If no /usr/local/afs7/cks-server/conf/*.wsc file exists, then copy the CKS configuration template to the CKS configuration directory:

    mkdir /usr/local/afs7/cks-server/conf
    cp /usr/local/afs7/share/templates/cks/cks.wsc /usr/local/afs7/cks-server/conf/

  2. In the configuration file, at XPath /Conf/Server/Database/URL, there is the address of a database server. Change it to the database-proxy server corresponding to the CKS server.
  3. In the configuration file, at XPath /Conf/CKSModule/Database/URL, there is the address of a database server. Change it to the database-proxy server corresponding to the CKS server.
  4. At xpath /Conf/WSModule/Connector/@ip, there is 127.0.0.1. Change it to the server's name or IP address used from outside.
  5. Start CKS:

    /etc/init.d/cks_server start

There is no need to run the Jmeter on this box. CKS initialization data are provided through the database replication mechanism.
