When the CKS server used for notification (the one specified on the scheduler's configuration) is down, you will have to update the scheduler's configuration in order to tell the scheduler to use the other CKS server.

Edit the following file:

As root user

/usr/local/afs7/conf/conf.xml

Update the scheduler's configuration

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1" standalone="yes"?>
<afs:conf xmlns:afs="http://ref.antidot.net/v7/afs#">
<afs:ScheduledSearches>
<afs:Queries>
<afs:minDelayS value="10" />
</afs:Queries>
<afs:Router>
<afs:route>
<afs:mapItem key="CKS" value="cks2-box:15002"/>
</afs:route>
</afs:Router>
</afs:ScheduledSearches>
</afs:conf>

Replace cks2-box with the CKS server which is up.

Restart the scheduler's by running the following command:

/etc/init.d/afs_scheduler start
