The afs_gsa_emulator filter enables indexing the content of a CRM (such as Microsoft Sharepoint) through Google connectors.

The filter is declared with the afs_gsa_emulator type. It is in the antidot-paf-misc package. It is a generator filter.

The filter stops if it receives no document during this time interval. It can happen that the connector-manager does not send any document during more than one minute, so it is advised to not lower this value.

This filter needs a running Google Connector Manager with at least one Google Connector correctly configured. At startup, the filter list all connectors available and reschedule a traversal for each of them. Then the filter waits for incoming documents provided by the connectors until one of the following condition is reached:
  • Connectors send same document twice: it is assumed that a full traversal has occured and a new one has started.
  • Connectors schedules are paused by the Connector Manager: a full traversal occured and it has been signaled properly to the Connector Manager.
  • The filter did not receive any new document after the time interval defined by timeout.
