The afs_crep_deploy filter is in charge of deploying Content Repository databases to the Update Manager.

The filter is declared with the afs_crep_deploy type. It is in the antidot-paf-misc package. It is a visitor filter.

This filter can be instantiated only once at any given moment. It will not read the "instances" parameter in the configuration.

The Content Repository Deploy filter specifications are described in the following table:

Parameter name

Mandatory

Type

Default

Description

layers

No

list

Empty list

Select the list of layers to export. If left to an empty value, all layers will be exported

max_buffer_memory_mb

No

integer

32

Advanced parameter. Maximum amount of memory (in megabytes) used internally for storing documents. Lower values help to minimize memory consumption at the cost of using cpu more often.

Note: This filter will not work if the service ID of the PaF is set to 0.
Attention: This filter can be instantiated only once at any given moment. It will not read the "instances" parameter in the configuration.
Attention: If the content repository is not set to use Nerada, this filter needs Update Manager to be correctly configured in the server cloud and an afs_host binary on the indexing server. See Update Manager for more information.
Attention: This filter MUST be after any filter modifying layers that are exported(see the 'layers parameter'). If you are unsure, put it at the end.
Attention: To best leverage Nerada resiliency it is recommended to put this filter just before the afs_search_deploy one.
