It is also possible to use the style map to map Word styles to CSS classes as follows:

h1.chapter:
   - chapter
h2.section:
   - section
Fluid Topics transforms the chapter paragraphs into <h1 class="chapter"> and the section paragraphs into <h2 class="section">.

All the original styles of each paragraph of the Word file that are not mapped with the style map are added with a specific property in the resulting HTML elements.

This property can then be used in the Content Styles editor to add additional styles.

For example, if a Word file contains a substep style but no style map, it is possible to configure the Content Styles editor with a CSS class as follows:

div[data-custom-style="substep"] {
  padding-left: 20px;
  font-family: "HelveticaNeueLT Std Lt";
  font-size: 10pt;
  margin-top:6pt;
  margin-bottom:6pt;
}
