facets "not equals" to.

  • "facet_1 != B" means: at least one value of the facet is not B.

For example, if someone is looking for a T-shirt which is not red, we will search for T-shirts which also have other colors in the value for "color" (it can have blue, red and green as values).

  • not (: means: facet_1 has no value B at all.

All documents with scope FOO:

http://server/search?afs:service=1&afs:facetDefault=replies=100&afs:filter=scope="FOO"

All documents with at least one scope value not equals to FOO (all documents which are not only in FOO):

http://server/search?afs:service=1&afs:facetDefault=replies=100&afs:filter=scope!="FOO"

All documents which are not at all in FOO:

http://server/search?afs:service=1&afs:facetDefault=replies=100&afs:filter=not(scope="FOO")

So if you want to have all documents which are BAR and not FOO:

http://server/search?afs:service=1&afs:facetDefault=replies=100&afs:filter=(scope="BAR")and not(scope="FOO")
