To check that content is properly installed, it is necessary to use a browser and access the searchURI/content?afs:check=front-end address.

Example

http://afs7.afs-antidot.net/content?afs:check=front-end

The reply must be an XML feed containing information about the content repository, in a reply set with the URI set with "AFS v7 check feed" like in the following example:

Since AFS v7.6, the Content Repository works as a daemon. It combines the old Reply Database and Host Live modes.

Therefore, the Content Repository can be queried two ways:
