Role

UTF-8 encoded query keywords.

afs:query=text is a shortcut for adding the filter fts("text") to the query (fts means full-text search).

Status

Optional. It may be set several times (in which case all filters are evaluated in an AND fashion).

Example

afs:query=my%20search%20keywords

To query virtual fields, it is necessary to use the vfts function. For more information about vfts, see vfts (Virtual Field Text Search).

- It is possible to send a specific query for each feed of the service simultaneously by using afs:query@feed, as in the following example: afs:query@feed1=foo&afs:query@feed2=bar.

- It is possible to use a wildcard within afs:query. A wildcard is a character that may be used in a search term to represent one or more other characters. See Wildcard Search for more information.
