Service Identifier (serviceId) - AFS

AFS Integration Guide

Reference Guide

Several search services can be operated by the same set of hardware resources — it is not unusual to host several hundred different services in a datacenter. In a given location (a datacenter, a corporate network, or else), each search service is uniquely identified by its service identifier, or serviceId.

Antidot provides a permanent serviceId for each search service operated on Antidot Cloud SaaS servers. The attribution of a serviceId for a search service in another location is the responsibility of the local systems administration team who can use the numbering policy of their choice, provided that serviceIds are distinct, strictly positive integers.
