AFS provides a set of XSL extensions that can be used to leverage AFS output flow integration by providing an additional set of easy to use, powerful functions. These functions can be used in an XSL style sheet in the same way as XSL built-in functions.

For example, query URIs can be managed with the afs:add-param and afs:del-param functions, strings can be encoded in UTF-8 with the afs:encode-uri function, and so on.

A comprehensive list of these functions can be found in appendices AFS extensions list for all XSL engines (search, afs_xsl) and AFS extensions list for afs_xsl filter.

The AFS XSL extensions are installed on the CGI Web Servers bundled with AFS. They cannot be used on a generic web server.
If you use an SaaS version of AFS and your style sheet is located on Antidot CGI servers, then you can use the extensions.
If you use an license version of AFS and your style sheet is located on the AFS CGI servers, then you can use the extensions.
Otherwise, you cannot use the extensions.
