By default, the Services Overview screen displays a list of all services watched by the Back Office.

In the form of a table, the overall view of all the services displays the following information:

Where

  1. Status shows the status of the service represented by the corresponding icon.
  2. Id shows the id number of the AFS service.

    The {service Id - service Status} couple is used to identify specific instances.

  3. Service Name shows the name of the search service monitored in the Back Office.

    Click the title of the service to access the service Dashboard (and all applications).

  4. Dataflow shows the icon corresponding to the process status of the service's last PaF.

    The process status is either running, successful, or failed as shown by the corresponding icon.

    Click this icon to access the service Dataflow application.

  5. Docs displays the number of documents processed by the service's last PaF.

    If the documents are being processed, this number changes until the process is over.

    Click this number to access the service Dataflow application.

  6. Indexation displays the date of the latest PaF execution.

    Click this date to access the service Dataflow application.

  7. QM shows the status of the Query Manager represented by the corresponding icon.

    Click this icon to access the service Analytics application.

  8. Traffic shows the number of Queries per minute processed by the QM during the last minute.

    This number automatically refreshed every minute.

    Click this number to access the service Analytics application.

  9. Speed shows the average reply speed for Queries processed by the QM during the last minute.

    This number automatically refreshed every minute.

    Click this number to access the service Analytics application.

  10. ACP shows the status of the AutoComplete represented by the corresponding icon.

    Click this icon to access the service Analytics application.

  11. Traffic shows the number of Queries per minute processed by the ACP during the last minute.

    This number automatically refreshed every minute.

    Click this number to access the service Analytics application.

  12. Speed shows the average reply speed for Queries processed by the ACP during the last minute.

    This number automatically refreshed every minute.

    Click this number to access the service Analytics application.

All services can be sorted in ascending or descending order by clicking the corresponding column title.
Example: click Traffic to sort the services by descending traffic order.

Some services are PaF processes only. Only Dataflow information is available then.

To display the Services Overview main monitoring view

  1. Log in into AFS-BO.
  2. The Services Overview screen is displayed by default for all the services you are allowed to view. If only one service is available, then only one service will be displayed.
  3. For every service, you can check:
    • the number of documents processed by the search service at the PaF phase and the status of that process,
    • the status of AFS Query Engine,
    • the status of the AFS-ACP,
    • the latest AFS Query Engine analytics about the number of processed queries and the reply speed,
    • the latest AFS AutoComplete analytics about the number of processed queries and the reply speed.
