In AFS-BO, users (and user groups) are managed separately from the search entities. This makes it possible to configure them distinctively before setting their associations with search entities and the corresponding access rights.

For more information about organizations, see Managing Organizations. For more information about rights, see Managing Rights.

Users are identified in AFS-BO through an LDAP directory.

User groups are BO entities to aggregate users and set global rights on a number of search entities.

administration_user_general

Organization administrators and the global administrator can work on the users and groups rights management. For more information, see Managing Administrators.
