In the Views screen, the New command makes it possible to configure the predicate elements for a new view.

All AFS-BO users can display and select views. Only users with the "Manage" right can create and delete views. For more information, see Managing Rights.

The Views screen shows the necessary fields and commands to create a view.

new view

In the Name field, the label for the view must be entered.

The new view can be a filter on the following elements:

  • The word(s) entered in the field afs:query filter query containing the entered word(s).
  • A click on afs:filter adds an afs:filter field where an AFS filter attribute can be entered. The field can be removed with a click on the cross button. Another click on the afs:filter command adds another afs:filter field.

    view afs filter

  • A click on afs:log adds an afs:log field where an AFS log name can be entered. The field can be removed with a click on the cross button. Another click on the afs:log command adds another afs:log field.

    view afs log

  • A click on Custom parameter adds two Custom parameter fields where an AFS attribute and its expected value can be entered respectively. The fields can be removed with a click on the cross button. Another click on the Custom parameter command adds other Custom parameter field.

    view custom

All the elements set in Views must be met by the AFS queries to be retrieved by the BO view.

Once the view is configured, click on Save to validate the new view. When necessary, the Cancel command makes it possible to close the Views configuration screen without saving the view parameters.

Example of where the views can be seen

Once a view is created, the Analytics screen can start displaying the incoming matching statistics. Statistics prior to the view creation date are excluded in the Analytics.

As a view relies on logs managed by AFS-BO, it cannot be modified. When necessary, it can be deleted, and another view can be created again with the right parameters.

For storage reasons, the number of created views is restricted to ten views. When the limit is reached, a message is displayed. To modify the restriction, it is necessary to contact Antidot Support teams who can raise the limit.
