Crawl Maps - Fluid Topics - 3.8

Integrate Fluid Topics API

Fluid Topics
Technical Notes

To get the list of the document maps available on the portal, you can use the List Maps web service:

Note: User rights are taken into account when the appropriate Authorization header is provided, otherwise only public results are returned.

Before Fluid Topics v3.4.12, Fluid Topics systematically used a prefixed version of the header: FT-Authorization.

From Fluid Topics v3.4.12, both prefixed and not prefixed headers work.

The output lists all maps found on the Fluid Topics server.

For each map, endpoints are given. They allow you to retrieve the properties and the content for a given map.

Crawling content with endpoints from the List maps web service

With web services and endpoints, it is possible to retrieve all data from the search database of a turnkey portal, by using the Crawl API with a Python tool for instance, in order to index them with a Search Engine Tool, and generate a new search database.

It is possible to create a new search database with web services
Note: Clustering is not available for this web service.
