Due to the Oracle Java update policy, Antidot is unable to provide a Java environment from the provided repositories. Nevertheless, Java installation is necessary for the solution to run properly.

Check if a Java environment is installed on the server by running the following commands:

locate bin/java
whereis java

If no Java environment is installed, Java JRE can be directly obtained from a dedicated platform.

Example: if you wish to use Oracle JDK, you can download the jre-8-linux-x64.rpm file from the official website.

Once the .rpm file is on the server, run the following command (as root user):

rpm -Uvh jre-8-linux-x64.rpm

Check that the JAVA_HOME variable is located in the right place.

Check that the following path exists: $JAVA_HOME/bin/java

If it does not, run the following command (as root user):

export JAVA_HOME="$JAVA_INSTALLATION_DIRECTORY"

The Java installation directory can usually be found at the following path: /usr/bin/java
