Upload FTML Content to Fluid Topics

Fluid Topics
Technical Notes

To delete an FTML map that has already been processed in the Fluid Topics portal, perform the following steps:

  1. Generate a Control File.
  2. In the ft:originID attribute of the ft:khubItem element, use the identifier of the FTML map to modify.
  3. In the @ft:publishStatus attribute of the ft:khubItem element, enter the "delete" value.
  4. Prepare an archive containing the control file.
  5. Upload the control file.

To delete the "Hello World" technical note, whose identifier is "hello", from the portal, upload the following control file:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<ft:controlFile xmlns:ft="">
    <ft:khubItem type="map" ft:originID="hello" ft:publishStatus="delete"/>
Note: When successfully uploading a control file (FluidTopicsControlFile.xml or FluidTopicsDitaControlFile.xml) through a source that is not of the Unstructured Documents type, no feedback is provided in the History table of the Knowledge Hub interface. However, even though Success=0, Failed=0 and Rejected files=0 mean that the upload was successful.
No failed or rejected file means that the upload was successful
More information about the upload can be consulted in the Dataflow interface of the Back Office.
