Issue

When launching the Install PaFs script:

ft_install_pafs -s 2 -S beta -H ip-123-45-67-890.eu-west-3.compute.internal --ws-login antidot --ws-password change_on_install

One of the following errors is returned:

Error 1:

ERROR: Received HTTP error 400 (Bad Request): b'400 net.antidot.libraries.dao.exception.DaoException: net.antidot.libraries.tchannel.NackReceivedException: Type: 13, Message: [History error] Unknown group of files: PAF_CONF [2:beta:FluidTopics:20181116-100349.123:EDITION:7.9]’

Error 2:

10:20:57 [E:1] Could not register with PaF Manager: System error: Connection refused: Unable to connect to localhost:7250
10:20:57 ERROR: Command '['/usr/local/afs7/bin/afs_paf_install', '-s', '2', '-S', 'beta', '-b', '/usr/local/afs7/PaF/2_MY_STUNNING_COMPANY/beta/MY_STUNNING_COMPANY_FluidTopics', '-f', 'FluidTopics', '-a', '-C']' returned non-zero exit status 2

Impact(s) on users

The installation cannot be completed.

Possible root cause(s)

This issue might occur when:

  • Error 1:

    The Update Manager is running in a degraded state.

  • Error 2:

    The indentation is not correct in the mongod.conf file.

Solution(s)

  • Error1:

    1. Restart the Update Manager by using the following command:

    As root user

    systemctl restart afs-updatemanager.service

    2. Launch the script again.

  • Error 2:

    1. Correct the indentation of the /etc/mongod.conf file.

    2. Save your file.

    3. Launch the script again.
