Fluid Topics
Technical Notes

Some Fluid Topics web services require authentication because they are contextual to a user or give access to protected content.

When a web service does not require a user authentication, the returned content is not filtered.

When a web service requires a user authentication, the following user information is retrieved:

  • User roles are used to determine if the user has the rights or not to call the web service.
  • User groups determine how the content returned by Search web services is filtered.

If authentication has been set to required in the Fluid Topics configuration, all Fluid Topics web services require authentication.

It is mandatory to only public web services for the portal. Public web services are the ones listed in this document. Antidot cannot be held responsible for any damage resulting from the use of private web services.
