When switching from the legacy content repository to Nerada, the content database must be manually initialized.

  • For each feed using a content service, run the following command from the indexer:

    afs_service_deploy -t CREP_NERADA -s $SERVICE_ID -S $SERVICE_STATUS -f $FEED

Note: The pafmanager daemon must be running.

The exported layers can be specified using the --layer argument. If the --layer option is not provided, all layers are deployed.

While the afs_service_deploy command is running, the PaF for this service/status/feed is waiting.

Example

The following command line will deploy the layers USER_1 and PIVOT of all current documents of the NeradaDemo feed in the service 10001-stable:

afs_service_deploy -t CREP_NERADA -s 10001 -f NeradaDemo --layer USER_1 --layer PIVOT

afs_service_deploy fails if the target database already contains committed content data. In this case, it is possible to force the deployment with the --force argument.
